Milling
To obtain the pigment shaded yellow, mill 5x one of the herbs listed alongside it. As you can see it really doesn’t look like a lot of thought was put into milling in Outland or Northrend. They have only one tier of advancement each.
Across all the servers we have played on, we have only found one consistently worthwhile value stream for Inscription and milling. That is the ability to make vellum for enchanters to use. However, the market does fluctuate nicely, so profit can be made. It is just that the items are very low value for their level.
Patch 3.4 has added some pretty good team buffs that scribes can make. Check out the “making money with professions” section for an example.
